Ok... after several tries of succsessfully submiting this drawing it finally worked (I dont know fdor the moment but if this become succsessful I will surelly dont bother again). Thisis Preston from the brilliant science fiction movie Equilibrium. Many say it even surpasses Matrix and Matrix: Reloaded, well that is their oppinions not mine, not everybody can have perfect taste ^^, but still a great movie. Nough chit chat, nobody reads this anyway, comment! (if preview image dont work, perhaps full view does, if not I will try again and this text would be useless)

Yep i have to agree with your comment, Equilibrium is indeed a very cool film (Personally i think its more interesting that Matrix but hey, who cares) Still the shading is very impressive :faint: So much so that i just fainted! :faint: And again! So, anyways, it deserves a fav, not much else to say appart from that its brilliant! How did you draw it? i.e. did you use a grid or just copied it?

Wow; it looks so much like him. I love it, and I LOVE Equilibrium.... such a good movie... how do you get the portrait to look like the person? My sketches always come out looking completely different from the subject. A pointer would be appreciated :D

you could try to grid the paper, and place a transparent gridded paper over the photo you are to copy. Then you draw each individual square of the grid. And when you are done, erase the grid and start shading.
